Drive It Day 2025

Join us for national Drive It Day. An annual event organised by the FBHVC to help raise money for the NSPCC Childline charity.

Entry is via the purchase of a "rally plate" which is displayed on your car for the event. Clubs and individuals from all over the UK take part in this fundraising effort.

This will be our first year participating in the event as a club and we plan to make a great day of it.

Itinerary -

10:00 - Meet at The Motorist - New Lennerton Lane, Leeds. LS25 6JE - Breakfast and issue of rally plates.

10:45 - Participants assemble for departure

11:00 - Leave The Motorist to commence our route of around 125 miles of mainly country roads, taking in the famous Buttertubs Pass, one of the best driving roads in the country.

15:30 - 16:00 - Arrive Ripley Castle - 2 course meal in the Boars Head. Special deal arranged by extra meal ticket. Purchase below.

17:30 - Move cars to castle frontage for photos.

Rally plates come in 2 sizes and have 2 donation amounts. Small plates are 150mm x 75mm and Regular plates are 290mm x 145mm Normal donation is £12.50 and the platinum donation plate is £30.00

2 course meal in Boars Head is £23.00 p.p.

Final date to purchase plates via the club is midnight Friday the 11th April 2025
